The images of "Sky Spheres" has given me an emotional breakthrough for me.  I was driving through the flinthills of Kansas and this ray of light gave me so much energy and excitement.  When I came home and got to the drawing board (the computer).  This sheer beauty appeared to me.  What a joy!  I hope you enjoy this page.  I hope it will take you to the same place it did me.

...in the Photographer's Forum Spring Photo Contest.  The photo was taken in Downtown Fort Worth, Texas.  It is an image of texture, shape, composition, and color.  It is part of my composition photography collection.  I hope it does well.  I love the image.

When I first photographed the original "Blue Door", it opened my eyes back into the world of art.  I was trapped in a world of work and no play.  So, the new "Blue Door" is my confirmation  that I am heading in the right direction.  Visit the "Blue Door" page and fall in love with those elements of true beauty--color and texture.

Well I am starting a new chapter in my life.  I just became a new homeowner.  Wow!  It has been a unbelievable week.  On Monday, I closed.  And on Thursday, a tree fell and missed my house by a foot.  So, delays have prevented me from moving in.   It gracefully took out my electrical, so it will not be back on till next week.  Yes, I am still breathing.  I am up for the challenge.  Yes, it is my first home.

Enough of the house, several weeks ago, I went to Kansas City to see "Wicked" with some friends.  But, I also had an opportunity to fall in love with Kansas City, MO.  WOW!  As you can tell, I found a new love.  The city was great!  The Blue Door "Second Edition"  has been revealed.  The theme this month is the Blue Door has re-birthed.  A new door has opened with such beautiful colors.  Enjoy!

...is this month's focus.  I launched the new page of work that has really sparked some dimension to my overall work.  Kelly's project was a commissioned photographic art piece from California.  I have been working on this project since fall of 2007.  It has been finalized.  It was a great experience. 

I am looking at entering an international contest in April and continue to grow my collections for exhibition.  So, be on the lookout!
